If so is that using your app or another app that sorts.

chrisgscott mariecait88 SO SORRY it has taken me so long to respond- I have been traveling! But YES, that makes complete sense. I just didn’t put everything all together before. This helps A TON and I am excited to implement it as soon as I can. Thank you again!

mariecait88 Thanks so much for the kind words!
You kind of answered half of your question for me… let me tack on the other half.  So you mentioned that we place an importance and a value on letting our clients know what to expect to spend… the other half of that is that we also let them know what our typical client spends that money on.  We’re setting both monetary and product expectations, so most of our clients don’t actually want too many different things, they want the things we tell them we sell most often.  This is a positive catch-22… we tell clients that we sell canvases to most of our clients, which results in us selling canvases to most of our clients, which means we can tell our clients we sell canvases to most of our clients.  =)  So, while their tastes may vary, it usually only shows up in the miscellaneous items – the gift prints or small gifts, like the easel collection I mentioned – not in the big stuff like canvases.
Does that help, or did I just make it more confusing?

Excellent post. I am hoping to purchase Preveal in the coming months and make a huge (positive) change in my business! I do have one question: I totally agree and love the idea of customizing products/the sales experience to fit exactly what your clients want. And I understand the importance and value in communicating up front how much your clients spend so that they know coming in, what to expect to invest. However, how do you maintain that “sales goal” with them when people want such different things? If your sales goal was, for example, $500 per session, do you just price what they want to meet that goal, no matter if they want a few gift prints, a huge cluster of canvases, or an album? Let me know how this plays out. Thanks!
